For sure, the world would definitely be screwed against her and her vampires, whether it was morning or not. I was just speculating that some of the world would at least have a heads up of what was going on, while Japan was wiped out before they even knew what hit them xD Of course, that heads up wouldn’t do them any good, it would at best delay the inevitable until night fell and they got overwhelmed by billions of vampires. Not to mention Kiss-Shot herself would be completely unstoppable, if she even participated after creating the first few vampires.

I really love how Nisioisin can go back to stuff he wrote a long time ago and give it an entire new meaning. I don't think he already had this idea back in Bake, especially because the novel was originally going to end with Nise, it's just that the way he ties everything together is so well done it makes you believe all was pre-planned. Truly a work of art.
And the thing about some places being day and all... that doesn't really make a difference to Kiss-Shot. Shinobu in her prime is just that powerful. In Kizu, she "was defeated" solely because she wanted to die, but when she had her true fight with Araragi we can see just how powerful she is, instantly regenerating from anything. The US and Israel could team up and hit her with everything they got and she would still just be back up a second latter like nothing happened. And bear in mind that's only taking into account her regenerative powers and physical strength, she still has all her other abilities: shapeshifting (like Dramaturgy with his blade hands or Araragi with his root attack); turning into mist (like Episode); turning into shadows; matter creation; energy drain and even the pure pressure of her eyes that can blow holes into concrete (like she tried doing to Hanekawa at the end of their fight but Araragi got in front of her and was completely exploded. In the novels there's an instance when she actually blows a hole into a concrete ceiling just by looking at it).
So, yeah, I don't think the world has much chance against her, especially if we consider she was making loads of minions with similar powers and with her inherited goal of destroying humanity xD
