You did comment on the changing of art styles in the op, Nadeko said at the beginning of Otori that she likes retro things from the 80s

We also got almost no fanservice in the Tsubasa Tiger arc and the Nadeko Medusa arc, I think all the arcs so far without Araragi as the narrator have almost no fanservice xD

The biggest mystery in Monogatari is not Ougi... It's that damn closet! Also, That Nobita Kun reference is from Doraemon.

And the closet from the begining of Nisemonogatari makes its comeback appearance, something she prevented even her beloved Koyomi-oniichan to open.
I love the way Nadeko acts after she becomes a god, it feels so... fitting. When you look at her background and the things that happened before, the situation at hand seems so beliavable.
I also love making parallels between Nadeko and Hanekawa, but I'll wait till the end of this arc to share my views.
Another great thing from this arc is Kaiki's attitude. He is a very unique narrator because he is a proper adult, so it's very amusing to see him, someone who already has his life figured out, dealing with the problems of kids.
In many ways, Monogatari also is a coming of age story and I think that's why every adult feels so out of the curve. It's like they always know what is going on and how to deal with the situation, but at the same time struggle to understand the decisions made by the kids, but that only stems from the fact that they are already way past this period of life and have long ago learned how to deal with the difficulties of living. Too old to remember how it is to suffer from love, from the need of beeing accepted by your peers, from not wanting to stand out in a bad way or any other mundane thing teenagers make a big deal out of.
If we look at it from that perspective, it's like Oshino would be the friendly counselor that gets them back on their feet, Kagenui would be the kind who believes discipline is the right method, and Kaiki is basically the "well tough luck kiddo, life isn't all flowers and sunshine" type. Such intriguing, but at the same time so fitting, roles.
