Tsubaki's interest in the Perfect Self class comes largely from its ability to counteract aging. Like the elven representative told her, her lifespan is just too short. And in her mind, she won't be of much use to Dale if she doesn't live long enough to see him again.

So about Tsubaki why is she interested in the Perfect Self class? Does she simply want to be more useful to Dale or does she want to be able to pass the knowledge on when the time is right? In a way its probably for the best that Melora was driven away from the Citadel by Tsubaki even if it was unintentional. Could you imagine what could happen if someone like her not only discovered the Perfect Self class but gained it and later gained the False Divinity class. While Dale and the others could handle the situation the idea of someone like Melora gaining godlike powers gives me the shivers.

Dale wanted to leave the selection up to the mortals, to take that little bit of extra work away from the gods. However, if the humans pray for advice in choosing a representative, that gives Bihena reason to interfere.

I had a thought. Maybe Bihena should have a say in how the next representative for the humans should be chosen. I mean she established the rules of war so why not have her do something similar so that a Human Representative that won't be a disappointment will be chosen. Because as Melora just proved picking based on physical appeal, instead of choosing based the strength of character, might not be the best criteria for a representative.

Tsubaki couldn't share the information with the humans. The only human that she knew of as a point of contact was Melora herself, and Melora was also the only one that knew the Keeper's language out of the humans. So they really don't even know what they've been missing for these last ten years.

Then what's going to happen to her? Will she continue to act as the Keepers Voice or will the humans force her to give up the position to another? Because what you said about her ostracizing those who displeased her makes me think she won't exactly have a warm welcome from the humans. Especially since Tsubaki was more proactive in sharing the knowledge of the Citadel with all races which would include the humans and being a Beastkin that doesn't exactly make Melora look good as a representative. Because of this I think its likely that someone else will have the job and request to stay at the Citadel as the Human Representative and hopefully it will be someone who is nicer and more open minded.

The big problem there was the solitude. By the time that Melora had her 'incident' with Tsubaki, she had already cut off communication with the human queen, instead planning to send in the updates about Dale to other kings and queens. As the 'voice of the Keeper' living in the 'palace of gods', Melora saw herself as standing above the human royalty. Anyone that displeased her, she would ostracize. So, when she was scared of Tsubaki, she had nobody to confide in. She could only sit, and let her fears fester for years until Dale arrived. Every time she saw Tsubaki, it was a reminder of the event. And every time that she saw that Tsubaki hadn't been punished for what she did, to her it simply felt like even the gods weren't on her side. Yes, she had a bit of an ego. It's honestly a wonder that she managed to fit into the citadel at all.

Well that was Anti-climatic I had expected more from Melora. Then again maybe her Queen will order her to go back to the Citadel. I can't imagine that she would be pleased by what Melora would have to say about her reasons for leaving and would only see it as failure on her part.
