My Plans for this Week

Hello, everyone,

I have been hard at work revising Perversion of Purity book 3 this month, as you all probably know. I need this done not only so I can post it publicly, but so I can begin working on book 4 and posting that for all of you lovely people.

This has been a huge undertaking. I’m not just changing a few words here and there, I am largely rewriting a high percentage of the prose, adding completely new scenes, and making significant changes to existing arcs.

All this means that each chapter is an hours’ long undertaking. Doing this while also posting several chapters a week here has been crazy — more days than not lately, I have worked close to 12 hours as opposed to my usual goal of 8.

Despite all of that, I’m still not moving through the revisions quite as fast as I would like. It’s frustrating, especially because I really want to write book 4.

So here’s the deal:

There will be one chapter posted on Patreon this week instead of two. This will be chapter 1 of The Road to Hell — whose prologue I posted back in August.

While you guys enjoy that new chapter, I will be working exclusively on revisions this week. This should allow me to really pick up the pace and get a huge amount of editing done. This way I can finish faster, take some stress off myself and my schedule, and bring you guys book 4 much sooner.

I must once again apologize to fans eagerly awaiting Ashes of Chaos’s return, but the revisions are my top priority this month.

Most published authors do not write and revise at the same time — if they are revising a book, that is their work schedule. I am going to do that this week and see how it goes, but I wanted to assure you all there would still be something to sink your teeth into.
