Great Villain: Starting by Humiliating the Son of the Heavenly Fate Chapter 347: Ying Luo’s First Mission

"Haha!" Jiang Chen said, displaying a heartfelt smile. "I like you too!"

"Ao, I'm happy!" The little dragon shook its tiny head enthusiastically and emerged from the cracked eggshell it had occupied.

It was at that moment Jiang Chen got his first full view of the little dragon.

The dragon's body was entirely silver, but its eyes were pitch black.

Covered in finely detailed scales, its skin was arranged in a way that pleased the eye.

Although its four dragon claws were small, they radiated an unparalleled sense of sharpness and power, as if capable of effortlessly plucking the moon and stars from the sky!

A soft, flowing mane adorned the back of its neck, wafting gently like ribbons, contributing to its overall gracefulness.

"The surface largely resembles that of a Void White Dragon," Nangong Wan observed, "but its dragon eyes are those of a Death Calamity True Dragon."

"This little dragon's two bloodlines have fused together perfectly," Shangguan Ning mused. "It's a strong union, which makes its potential even more terrifying. I underestimated it before. Now it appears that its chance of advancing to the Fourth Step of the Cultivation Path is extremely high."

Conversing within Jiang Chen's sea of consciousness, the two beauties held a very high opinion of the little dragon.

"She's like the best of both the Void White Dragon and the Death Calamity True Dragon. Truly amazing," Jiang Chen said, his eyes full of joy as he extended his hand towards the little dragon.

"Big Brother!" The little dragon's eyes displayed dependency. She instantly leapt up, climbing onto Jiang Chen's shoulder via his extended arm.

Once there, she immediately nuzzled Jiang Chen's cheek with her tiny dragon head.

"Such a good girl," Jiang Chen spoke softly, affectionately patting the little dragon's head. "Right, I haven't given you a name yet; I can't keep calling you 'little dragon'."

"Right, right," the little dragon said, her eyes shining. "Can Big Brother give me several names to choose from? I want to pick one myself."

"Sure, I'll respect your wishes," Jiang Chen smiled. The little dragon was quite clever—afraid she might end up with a name she didn't like, she wanted to choose it herself.

Afterwards, Jiang Chen consulted with Nangong Wan and Shangguan Ning, coming up with a list of ten possible names.

Ultimately, the little dragon took an instant liking to the name 'Ying Luo'.

"Ying Luo! It's incredibly girly," Jiang Chen said, nodding slightly with a serious expression. "Then from now on, you will be called Ying Luo."

"Yes, Big Brother!" Ying Luo responded lively, hopping back and forth between Jiang Chen's left and right shoulders.

"Mm, very obedient," Jiang Chen nodded, extending his right hand. Ying Luo instantly scampered from his shoulder to his hand, deftly weaving between his fingers.

'What a pocket-sized little dragon,' he thought to himself, his eyes widening slightly. 'But its aura is anything but weak.'

'It has just been born, yet it already possesses the aura of the Late-stage Transcendence realm,' he mused, carefully examining Ying Luo and even giving her a scan with his Villain's Eye.

Immediately, a status panel materialized.

[Name: Ying Luo

Aptitude: Peerless Grade

Innate Talent: Void Death Calamity Dragon Vein

Realm: Middle-stage Transcendence

Combat Power: Late-stage Transcendence

Status: Villainess

Cultivation Methods and Abilities: Death Calamity Dragon Scripture (primary cultivation), Devouring Heaven and Earth, Blood Energy Absorption, Spatial Stride, Soul Dissipating Dragon Claw... partially omitted.]

Jiang Chen studied the status panel, his intrigue growing as he considered Ying Luo's mysterious and unique qualities.

At that moment, Nangong Wan chimed in to further enlighten Jiang Chen. "Although Ying Luo looks small, this is just her everyday form. True dragons have the basic ability to change their size at will."

"Understood," Jiang Chen said, a light smile curling at the corner of his mouth. "With combat power at the Late-stage Transcendence realm, she might be a bit lacking. But with my behind-the-scenes support, stopping Mo Hao from acting ostentatiously and humiliating others is entirely feasible."

He had never contemplated having Ying Luo, a dragon, directly intervene to halt Mo Hao's grandstanding. The risk would be too high; failure wasn't just likely, but it would also risk losing Ying Luo.

"Big Brother! I'm really hungry right now!" Ying Luo suddenly cried out weakly.

"Feeling hungry, huh?" Jiang Chen chuckled, caught somewhat off guard. He then extended his fingertip. "Let me feed you."

With a mere thought, residual qi and blood energy from the Wordless Heavenly Jade began to flow out from his fingertip.

"Ah!" Sensing the delectable offering, Ying Luo immediately opened her wide maw, enveloped Jiang Chen's finger with it, and began chewing noisily.

A very anthropomorphic sense of satisfaction appeared on her adorable dragon face.

For Ying Luo, the qi and blood energy purified by the Wordless Heavenly Jade was simply the most delicious thing she had ever tasted. She devoured it greedily.

Soon enough, the Wordless Heavenly Jade was completely drained by Ying Luo.

"Alright, alright. Not a single drop left," Jiang Chen stated, pulling his finger out of Ying Luo's mouth and shaking his head with a wry smile. "Once we defeat the enemy, there will be more good stuff to eat!"

"Alright, Big Brother, let's go defeat the enemy!" Ying Luo perked up instantly upon hearing that defeating the enemy would mean more tasty treats.

"Good, let's set out now," Jiang Chen said, smiling faintly. "But before that, let's discuss something!"

"What is it, Big Brother? Something so secretive, you wouldn't happen to have even more delicious things to eat, would you?" Ying Luo asked, looking puzzled.

"If you behave, there will be," Jiang Chen coaxed. He then continued, "The person we need to deal with is named Mo Hao..."

Not long afterwards, Jiang Chen had relayed his entire plan to Ying Luo.

True to her dual dragon lineage, Ying Luo was incredibly quick-witted and perceptive. She quickly grasped the essence of Jiang Chen's plan, understood the situation they were in, and the strategy for dealing with Mo Hao.

In Ying Luo's eyes, Jiang Chen was her only family, a figure of trust and loyalty with whom she shared the same fate. She had no negative thoughts towards him.

"I understand now! We have to prevent Mo Hao from showing off and making others look bad, thereby stopping him from getting stronger!" Ying Luo nodded earnestly.

Hearing this, Jiang Chen nodded in satisfaction. He then once again opened a spatial channel.

Whoosh!

The spatial channel materialized, sending ripples of spatial fluctuations cascading in every direction.

"Wow, what a big pie!" Upon seeing the vortex-shaped spatial entrance, Ying Luo's eyes immediately lit up. She was ready to devour the spatial energy, as consuming such energy for growth was innate to the Void White Dragon lineage.

"Hold on, hold on. You can't eat this one," Jiang Chen said, quickly grabbing hold of Ying Luo's tiny dragon body. "I promise I'll give you an even bigger pie in the future!"

"Alright. I'll wait for your pie, Big Brother," Ying Luo replied, holding onto Jiang Chen's finger and nodding somewhat regretfully.

"Good girl," Jiang Chen said with a smile, excitement in his voice, as he leapt into the spatial channel. "Let's go and deal with that Mo Hao!"
