A bit late but the new update is here, in which
- made the alley sortie a bit fairer, rather having RNG give you a sort of placeholder than repeating the same stuff over and over
* also trying out a new way of giving flavor scenes with "special-nothing" NSFW scenes based on time and place
* so far there's one "single slate" scene where the MC observes a lady of the night preparing for Merry Day
* one "single slate" scene where the MC observes a lady of the night after some "business success" on Merry Day
* one "single slate" scene where the MC observes a young farmer girl "reunite" with her boyfriend on Market Day
- also added faliure states to stealing scene
- also added stage 4 to Abril where you submit the stone, its a rather big, bigger than the above set of passages.
* in this sequence, you get an assertiveness check where you can en-tranche your relationship with her. Its a flavor scene that is not NSFW, optional of course.
My job changes have taken a toll on my stress levels, responsible for the delay, also the late summer heat added to all things. I have a day job and a family and stuff happens all around, mostly out of my control. That's one thing I learned as an adult, that most effort goes into just reacting to the day, not so much doing things proactively. But that's fine and normal I think however I do know it does not sound exciting, so I'm making an executive decision, not to, you know, justify delays. It has happened before and most likely will happen in the future, but I feel like it just makes me look and feel bad. So from now on, devlogs only. I do appreciate however the idea that most of you stuck with my venting for so long, I'd like to think it helped. Anyway...
Next update is coming sometime after 2 maybe 3 weeks. Its a big setup to do all things mentioned before so we'll see. I'll try to organize the order of NPC events and availability, then start adding the setup conversations to unlock the new zones and then build up from there.
All you have to do is enjoy the new update, and let me know if anything is broken.
