Pausing this patreon at the end of january
Added 2018-01-03 00:34:46 +0000 UTCFirst off, Thanks to every one of you supporting, We're grateful that you've been interested in helping Wetblush grow but at some point the business model needs to be seriously considered viable or not.
The majority of the time the money you give goes to the artists but not much else ( administration, server costs etc.) It was fine for a while as long as the artists were covered, There was no budget for any kind of big advertising campaign so we were hoping allowing the artists to publicly post their work and along with the free open site and an FA banner would encourage views and then eventually growth in actual monetary support, but over most of 2017 that theory seems to have been been proven wrong, the supporter growth has been stagnant despite having decent content, Actually, support dropped quite a bit from when we first started...
It's honestly been a while coming but we were considering what could be done besides just closing, Maybe this patreon could be re-purposed into something that would be viable, actually able to support itself,maybe even make a profit, but until we figure that out we're just gonna pause it indefinitely at the end of the month, That means no more paid posts from February
We'll be operating as usual during this month as there's still some art left to post, finishing up Candy Squash, Cinnamon Glaze and Summons along with any YCH's left
