As we close in on the Penitent Crusade Kickstarter, we’re excited to share something a little different with you all - our first lore video!

Unwelcome Salvation is the firsthand account of an unlucky survivor of a Tormentor Cults raid. Hidden amongst the wreckage, he gets a firsthand look at the pious brutality of the Penitent Crusaders as they purge the followers of the Prison Lord. Emerging from his hiding place, he is witness to a dark and terrible secret, one that the Azerai Church would keep at all costs…

We hope you enjoy this new format of content from us, it’s been a massive team effort and we had a blast creating it - We’re looking forward to producing more of these in the future, and more importantly, revealing what exactly those Penitent Crusaders were doing in the ruins of Ebbswitch.

The secret is, as you might expect, a terrible hypocrisy that will shake your faith in blessed Azerai…
