Yep, I agree that the idea of waves just doesn't work here. This is a holdover from the previous version's gameplay and is going away in the next version. Thanks for the feedback!

2016-11-09 16:59:37 +0000 UTCWaves seem to not make much sense... If there is no failure state then why gate the action in such a manner? I just end up losing all the love of a round because you have to wait for the slowest lover and the delay between the last one fishing and the next set coming.

2016-11-06 13:50:02 +0000 UTCThanks for the feedback! You're right, the wave mechanic made more sense before the gameplay change. I don't want you to be stuck waiting for a slow lover to finish up. With the new gameplay, it makes sense to have more control over who goes where and when. I'm going to test out some ideas to address this.

2016-10-31 20:50:21 +0000 UTCOK, so I finally managed to get to play the game, and I've stumbled on something... Aside of the placeholder_text and visual glitches like this: https://gyazo.com/e4bf65f2d0a8da0e48908009f743c0ef there was something odd with the gameplay itself. I'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels that way, but without the struggle to maintain your disguise, I'm not entirely sure what's the purpose of waves. Here's an example: In higher waves you have more than one pony, and for a brief moment that's really cool, but the problem is, that when one or two finish up, you always need to wait for the slowest one to finish. You can't replace the other two lovers before that wave ends its run, and then just repeat everything, again waiting for the slowest lover. The problem is that a burst of action is crippled with a wave mechanics. In the previous version I was one of those people that level'd up the number of stallions as soon as I could and then build other things after that point. Perhaps that'd be something to look into.
