April Preview #2 - Very Hungry Caterpillars

Hot on the heels of the Burial Isle Preview, we’re pleased to share a look at April’s second collection - a decidedly grubby new group of Hellspawn!

Residing within the corrupted and deadly Ashen Wastes, the Grublord Vermixan and his writhing cabal weave terrible rituals, in the hopes of ushering in a great metamorphosis of the roiling arcane energies that suffuse the site of that ancient and terrible Cataclysm.

Let’s check out the designs!

At the core of this set are the Demon Grubs, spawn of Vermixan, these are pitiful and foulsome creatures who have a lumpen and gross energy about them!

Emerging into a higher form, some amongst the Demon Grubs will grow in arcane power, becoming demonic mages and high servants of the dread Vermixan.

Next, we’ve got the Grublord himself! Vermixan is a horrific mass of blubbery flesh and malevolence, he’s a big guy, sitting comfortably upon a 100mm base, making him a major contender for biggest amongst Bestiarum’s demonic pantheon.

Lastly, the beast Polycephalaq, bound by arcane shackles to Vermixan’s demonic will. This chimeric horror is one of the misbegotten and twisted beasts born of the Ashen Wastes terrible corruption - a preview of what awaits any foolish enough to venture into those dark lands!
