Stream Slots! Quality vs Quantity!

so I've been struggling this past few months at keeping the level of quality for my stream slots consistent, while still being able to take on as many as I do.

stream slots at the price they are now are meant to be flat colored, refined sketches. (Option A shown in the pic attached is how there meant to be)

but I seem to be inking them ... like full on inks, and I keep adding a shades and highlights every pic that I my brain gets bored or excited with its a mixed bag of mavie emotions >_<

I feel like my options are to either revert back to how they're meant to be, keeping them at the price there at now.  - a rough sketch with flat colors - so I could take on the same amount/more of them in a week to cover the monthly bills.

or i do the quality i want to make them at, -full inks like they are now, + more shinnies n lighting fun- (like Option B in image attached to this)  but take on less slots on a friday, and the bill would go up by $30/slot - --making them HS-95, Hips-125, FB-145, FB/taur/naga-165 ---not including patreon discounts, which yes you'll always be able to apply them to these ^^

So I ask ye all supporters !
should I...

A)   lower the quality and keep the price n amount I take on the same? so more people have chances to get slots in a week?
or
B) up my prices and quality of the stream slots? lowering the number taken on but giving you a more polished product?

I know you've been struggling with this for a while Mavie, B is the better option for you, both short term and long term. You want to improve and give your all to your clients, but your running yourself ragged. I know you don't want to raise your prices, but your work is worth a lot more then you ask. Option A I worry would both bore you and still leave you overwhelmed with work. Taking less, and pushing your talent, is the way to go, even if it means my pocket book hurts a bit more. I know you desire to be fairly priced, and give something worth the money requested and often feel it doesn't meet that standard you've set for yourself. And Hey with the price increase just means I'll really make sure I want something drawn before trying to snag a stream slot. Either way, I wish you well, and ultimately do what's best for yourself.

I really like opcion B that´s why i commisioned mavie but in my case i will think twice if the prices would go up. the taxes in spain are incredibly high if it wasn´t for the discount t I could not do coms with mavie.

PLANTINI

I dont wana stop commissioning you either. thats not nearly as bad as i was worrying tho. Itd be weird if your streams were more or same price as your commissions without it being a commission ya know XD

Thanks mavie! I appreciate the response!

understandable hun n i don't want to cause you any financial stress or anything, shall need to ponder how to do a tiered quality system next, mostly just using the poll to feel out peoples vibes on this topic. ^^ the maths would be $100 for a hipup, or $116 for a full body for you, cause your gold tier and would get to apply your 20% off discount to your total ^^

Maverick Mave

I already do them in low amount 1 a month and rarely 2 a month... Bit of a rude answer tho for me asking a genuine question and not meaning anything ill by it. Tho the question was for mavie. Id prefer if it was her answering my questions about her commissions and patreon then another patreon member. It is her patreon.

Flare Dark

I think it's 30$ per commish, and could just try for stream slots a little less? (I would, but that would also give Mavie more chance for other people and variety)

Elia

If prices go up to much ill have to stop commissioning sadly. They are almost at my limit now... How much more are we talking? Will it still be wing its too or more like a actual commission?

Flare Dark

I'll happily pay extra for more details!
