Slight Changes (and more content) Coming

Whew...so.

The passing of a close relative pretty well derailed the end of the month for me in July, and then, I had to put on a brave face throughout August for a pair of conventions in back to back weeks (I will never do that again.)

September probably should have been good for recovery, but instead, I caught some kind of a bug in the first week of the month, and while I did recover after about a week or so, I was dealing with a brutal cough until Monday.

I also had an improvised "vacation" to go and visit some family out west that I hadn't seen in three years, which ate up a week of September and put me a little behind the eight ball.

Brief summation of that: I haven't been posting consistently enough, so I'm gonna simplify my Patreon page just a little to make my life easier, and to make sure everyone is gonna get the content they deserve for helping me out.

Here's the brief shakedown of what's changing.

$1: Becoming a tip jar. You don't want any content, just wanna help? This is the level for you.

$2: New level being made! The only benefit for this level will be Discord access, so if you want to be a part of the chat, be sure you're at least this high on the ladder. (Those who are already part of the Discord will be grandfathered in to having access.)

$3: Will continue to get all story posts of every type, but I will be dropping voting rights to this level, as well! If you want all the stories and the chance to vote on creative endeavors, this is all you need!

$5: AMA Access will be moving back up to the $5 level, so make sure you're this high up if you want to ask questions to the monthly character.

$10: New benefit: the discount level! Anyone who subscribes at this level will have a 1% discount on any story commissions purchased, even if they aren't a part of the Premier Club (but this discount will stack with any Premier Club benefits you acquire throughout the year.)

$15: New benefit: the library level! At this level and above, you may request a chapter from a published book once a month! There's over 25 books to choose from as of this posting, so a chapter a time, this benefit will certainly pay for itself.

$30: Gonna scrap this level. No one is using it and it's redundant.

$50: Gets you everything else, and a guaranteed commission of 1,500 words (or 1,500 words you can use as part of another story you commission that month.) As always, you CANNOT just stack these over the course of a year and then ask for a 15,000 word commission. They're use or lose, month by month.

Hopefully this simplification will help me to produce more content for more people, and it'll make things easier for people to engage with access to polls being cheaper, and access to published book chapters giving people an idea of what they're getting into.

As of next year, I'm going to need a stronger emphasis on this Patreon page. My goal is to maintain $500 a month for the entirety of 2023, but that starts with me being more consistent in posting and providing, so I'd like to end 2022 with at least one story post a week.
