I have the intense task ahead of me of tackling this freezer full of specimens over the next few weeks!
Mostly roadkill and forest finds (some gifted to me by other woodland scavengers) and it's pretty much full now! ~ With a couple of rabbits, a few squirrels, a jackdaw, some pheasants, two partridges, some badger paws, a sparrow, some bird of prey (not sure which yet, need to have a proper look at it!), a few mice, a shrew, half an owl.... And a fox!!
This shed is going to be my workspace whilst I try to teach myself more preservation & skinning, and eventually... Taxidermy! I'll be documenting myself doing all sorts on here. The task over the next few days is setting up a YouTube properly so that I'll be able to post Patreon only videos on here through it! (Patreon not hosting video content is a pain but hopefully it'll be pretty simple to post various patron only video content here just via a private YouTube. I know it's a thing so now just to figure it out.)
And those little bones you see are most of a crow skeleton we found whilst on a little forage away in the Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB for a van escape. I'm finishing cleaning these up today to tinker with for Saturday's stock drop!
