Lot of information in this chapter. I wasn't sure how much I wanted to divulge, but I felt letting some of this information into the chapter was important.
Can't waiiiiiiit to finally start writing about these story angles I've been setting up. So many tasty scenes I've been building toward.
EDIT: The opening line, second sentence, had a missing key point. It should read: "He didn’t have to say anything. The moment he curled his finger against a small hole in the soot created by the chaos, and opened the barrier, the crows above began to squawk, caw, and attack." I think that story point got lost somewhere between chapter 108 and 109.
