August Photo #1: Nap Time

Daddy smiled sweetly as he laid Mav down in the crib for his afternoon nap.
"Don't you just look precious in your choo choo onesie!" He remarked as he handed Mav his large stuffed puppy - the boy's favorite crib companion.
Mav greedily snatched the puppy out of Daddy's hands and hugged it to his chest. This elicited a smirk and a chuckle from Daddy, who promotly pulled out his phone to snap yet another picture. Mav gazed up at Daddy blankly and continued to suckle on his pacifier as the shutter sounded. Satisfied with the new addition to Mav's baby book, daddy pocketed his phone and began to tuck the boy in.
Mav was already drifting off to sleep by the time Daddy had him snug under his blankets. His diaper was fresh (for now), his stuffed puppy was by his side, and a lullaby was playing softly from the soother box strapped to the railing of his crib. The perfect recipe for a restful and rejuvenating nap.
Daddy gave Mav's head a gentle pat before making his way toward the door and shutting off the lights.
"Sleep tight, kiddo."
