2024-09-27 21:54:45 +0000 UTCMalagón won them that trophy. Could have easily been 3-1 Crew in regulation, but he came up huge several times. There was some weirdness at the end of the game that didn't make the highlight package. Columbus had a corner at the end of regulation but the ref decided to blow his whistle for full time, which left a bit of a weird taste. Then, on Amundsen's missed pen, Malagón was off his line, but the goal was allowed to stand since it wasn't on target. But nonetheless it was a fantastic game and America deserved the win.
