Schedule for the Week of 10/06/2025

October is here and we’ve got some spooky themed programming lined up for the month! Brad, Will, and I make our return to the scariest of places, Early Access, with Jump Space on Monday. I’ve been really eager to get into that one, so excited to see how it all goes. On Tuesday, Abby is bringing Fright or Sh*te back, and I’ve added a start to the title because Abby is worth it! We were thinking of Silent Hill for it, but thought we would be best served to either squeeze it in its entirety or try a handful of other games, and there are definitely some other games I want to see. I think I’m really just trying to find more time to play Silent Hill f! Did I say Early Access was the scariest because I meant Launch Day for a Live Service game, and we’ll be doing that as well with Battlefield 6 on Friday! Now, I’ve had a lot of good times with Battlefield and also a lot of mediocre times with Battlefield so I’m curious to see if it can bring the fun.

Over on the podcast schedule we’ve got the start of our October Watchcast lineup with Invasion of the Body Snatchers! Alex has posted the rest of the schedule, so make sure to check that out and read about the movies if you’re concerned about their intensity levels! Some real picks this month. We’ve also got the Ramblecast, and the NXL Podcast, along with a Planorama as we go through the rest of the releases for this month.

We’re kicking off our month of personal horror picks with Alex’s choice, the 1978 adaptation of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, a deft combo of alien horror and '70s paranoia thriller that features a killer Donald Sutherland mustache, just about the youngest Jeff Goldblum you’ve ever seen, and a very weird dog.
