You can hit him the first time and then if you lose the fight you stay on Malena's good side. It's only if you win the fight that Malena gets upset with you.

2025-05-04 15:33:25 +0000 UTCIf I recall correctly, I actually walked away from Tanner because Melena told me to, just as much as it being the right thing to do... (and also did a playthrough that led to the MC trying to kill Tanner)

2025-04-05 07:41:10 +0000 UTCI will say this. On all my playthroughs it was the exact same decision. But I do have one extra Emmeline save where I hit him and won just to see how that is going to play out further down the road.
