The Illithisk - January's first creature release
Added 2023-01-01 13:32:22 +0000 UTCHappy New Year everyone! And with a new year comes new creatures for the Sol’Kesh Speculative Evolution Bestiary.
Beginning with one of my favorites, the humble and polite-looking crustacean, the Illithisk, this crab-like creature with a symbiotic bacteria can hook his foes in tight to paralyze them with his bacterial infused bite. Thankfully those hooks come in handy as they’re used as one of the month’s craftable items.
The second is a massive one, the Korrask, this ambushing giant centipede is based off the forever-scary bobbit worm, but this larger than life version digs into the woodland ground, awaiting prey before scything them in half. This deadly CR7 creature will be available on January 15th,
And like every month I’ll be adding wayward sketches and early creature post previews throughout the month to give you all some special access content to the world of Sol’Kesh and the bestiary book I’m writing for it.
