Just a quick update :)

Hey everyone! Just a little bit of an update. I'm currently working on some longer chapters, much like chapter 47 was. The scenes I need to portray for the story are a bit more involved, and require the right setups in my head, in order to advance the story the way I'm wanting it to.

Additionally, my editor over at Portal Books recommended that I slow down my writing just a tad, to prevent future burnout, or extra long breaks. Apparently it's fairly common for authors to overwork themselves, and the quality of writing suffers overtime because of it. Who knew?

Anyways! All that being said, I'll still be updating fairly often, but it might be slower than the almost daily posts many of you have become accustomed to. Thus far, I have seen and felt an improvement with my writing, and how the story flows overall since I started taking a day off here and there.

As many of you are likely aware, writing is not my full-time job, and I actually started writing as a hobby, for something fun to do. It's escalated very quickly since January, and I'm blown away by the level of support I have now, but it isn't enough to replace a full-time job's income right now. Just to be straight up and honest with everyone.

Also, just a reminder to everyone, I am relatively active in the Portal Book's Discord, which everyone here has access to. I'm not always in general chat, but there's an "Ask the Author" section. So if you have any questions, feel free to tag me there :)
