But here you can see where the courtyard and part of the building collapsed when the Alds broke into the city via the old tunnels. This is also where Sonorie must have been smuggling out Foi-Hellick's raw First Materials, making the capture and subversion of that tunnel an ironic delight for the Alds. Now they're able to bring in provisions for their vliegeng - that would be the icy blue trunks on the wagons. Those are from northern bamboo-like plants called Frost Giants. They are full of fatty sap, and are vliegengs' primary food source. Keeping their flying snakes provisioned has always been a problem for Alderode, restricting how far from home they can use them.
