We'll go to Grenzlan on Monday to see what the Black Tongues are doing. Paul has his doubts, but the Alds were hurt pretty bad at Litriya, and now are sending what's left after the Queen. That leaves their occupied town hella vulnerable, even if it does have two Adeliers in residence.

All he had to do was shatter that bulb in his hand and it would have been like a bomb going off but them wrights were fast!

2022-09-23 14:37:07 +0000 UTCJeremy, I don't think that Nora (Erm) arrived with guards, she fled Litriya with scientists and even if she picked someone up outside of Litriya – that would be Queen's forces. Oh yeah, that's a good point, Flyfly.

2022-09-23 09:27:27 +0000 UTCI think it wasn't about this being a good opportunity, it's because Queen directly addressed Bell's plot - which, as it seems that Bell operates under idea that Queen is in the dark about his coup, made the assassin lose his nerve. Arguably, you can say that he though that this was the best moment, if only because he was certain there ain't going to be any more of the moment for him, ever.

He was probably escorting the queen for a while, might've been better opportunities (like on the move) than do it dramatically when the queen is literally talking about the possibility of an attack. i mean, even if he did it while the was a kerfuffle with Roger's body, while other guard is rushing to help – that's already a better cover. This assassin sucked.
