Taking the risk on holding a few more just isn't worth it, and the likelihood that officials low level enough to be sent away on a mission like this would have anything useful, is low.

They can't fight back much and they are the Secret Keepers, possessing intimate Dammakhert knowledge - and Queen seems to be very interested in all that. Wouldn't it make more sense to capture them and interrogate them? Even if they won't badge, they at the very least make for a one tasty bargaining chip for trading POWs.
