Did you think I'd go more than a page or two without a goofy nekkid joke just because of a major character death? Mathis would have wanted it this way.

This epilogue is pretty breezy and quick moving; should run about thirty pages. Settles some political questions and gets us set right up for the next book. Speaking of...

Just to be very clear, Unsounded will have a direct and fairly immediate sequel! I'm not going anywhere, but the story is. It's going North, to be specific, towards the mysteriously shrouded country of Alderode and its ice-scabbed seas. Civil war looms between the Gefendur and Ssaelit there, complicated further by class and caste conflicts that make alliances fleeting and trust a rare commodity. Our navigator will be a plucky little Soud girl with a familiar face and last name, but Duane and Sette have no plans to let you forget them either :)
