I've started a Discord server

First a quick update. Development on Akari in an RPG 2 (temp title) is still stalled currently. But that's fine for now. Recently I've double downed on studying and have began taking private lessons whereas before I was on group classes. Also every three or six months I need to do medical check up stuff like imaging, blood test, etc and June is when I have do my per 3 and per 6 month stuff.

It's all thanks to everyone supporting me, whether that is through being my Patron, buying Meltys Quest, or even just telling other people about Meltys Quest, that I can live such a relatively comfy live right now where I can just focus on studying or working on my health. I've struggled to find ways to show my appreciation other than to live up to everyone's expectation and put out as best of a product as I can in the future. 

So with that, I'll segue into my idea of creating a Discord server. I've barely used Discord before but I do know that by this point there must be thousands of private and public Discord server for every topic imaginable. But still, I want to try out having a Discord server and form a little community among my supporters. Of course the server will be used to talk about Meltys Quest and any other games that I localize in the future, but I would be happy to talk about other eroge and games and stuff with you guys. If you're feeling lonely on those other thousand member Discord servers because there are already established cliques and stuff, then why not come on down to my server and relax.

I'm mainly interested in the newest and latest Japanese eroge and mobages, but I think most of my audience know little or no Japanese so of course it's okay to talk about English games on the server too, whether they are translated or played through with translating tools. No bullying for others for not knowing Japanese though. 

Speaking of which, since I'm not currently translated anything, I thought of doing something similar to the daily translation reports that I used to write where instead I would post about my daily Japanese stuff. But it didn't feel right to use Patreon to do that so I couldn't. But now with my own Discord server, I'm going to just blog some of my Japanese on the #studying-jp channel. One of my classmates in my group classes told me how much learning with other people helps him stay motivated and learn Japanese just because you can feel and track your and other people's progress. So if anyone else is studying Japanese, whether casually for fun or whatever, feel free to use the #studying-jp channel too to post your progress daily.

Finally, with a Discord server I can finally give some type of additional reward to Patrons. I don't know if anyone actually wants this, but I'm thinking of doing like weekly or bi-weekly game nights where I play chill or party multiplayer games with other Patrons and stuff. At least until I have a game project that will take up all the rest of my time. I dunno, I think it might be fun, who knows. Post on the #game-night channel if you got any suggestions or idea of games to play.
