V8 is still in the early design / feasibility stage. According to the poll on discord, this is an update focused on character customization and new sex interactions. Here's some of the things we're exploring (no promises, but at least some of these will probably make it in):
Fixes a bug introduced in V7, where the CPIN would not be automatically granted to you upon creating a chemical.
Improves Linux/Mac support.
