Mid July Update

Hello everyone, I wrote Mid July on the title but really it is a bit past that. So the first half of this post will be about my next title that I'm developing, localizing and publishing. Second half will be about my health so skip that if you're not interested.

First, there was a surprise post by Sachinama in my Discord in regards to our next game ahead of this post. The title of the second game co-developed by Remtairy and Happy Life is Pina and the Hero's Amazing Tale. This is the RPGMaker MV remake of Happy Life's first RPG game, Bitch JK in an RPG. Besides being in a new engine, there will be a different story, new characters, new scenes, and new game mechanics. Even for anyone who has played Bitch JK in an RPG previously, this is basically a new game featuring some of the same cast. 

Now currently we're still in the extremely early process of planning and laying the groundwork for the game. Sachinama will be working on story, characters, map and sex scenes, while I, Remtairy, will be working on the gameplay, system and localization. 

I am unsure of what direction of the rewards I want to offer here on Patreon during the development of Pina and the Hero's Amazing Tale, so I am open to hearing everyone's suggestions here. I enjoyed doing the daily progress reports during Meltys Quest, but I'm unsure if it's better to just make the progress reports less frequently because I feel like some of them would just be something like 'Today, I designed two combat encounter today, designed a perk for the talent tree, and rebalanced one of the boss.' Also, I don't know if I want to let's say, release a demo version, or try to, every month for backers or something. 

Now if that last sentence triggered PTSD for anyone who is a frequent Patron of other Patreons, don't worry, trust me when I say that selling a complete game on Steam is much more attractive than getting Patreon money. So I'm interested in hearing everyone's thoughts, free feel to comment in this post.

And here's the second half of the post about my health, you can skip the rest of this post if you don't care. So I was supposed to be scheduled for a colonoscopy last Sunday on the 15th. I did the two days of preparation for the colonoscopy and everything. And then on Sunday morning, I felt the urge to go to bathroom when I woke up and it turned out my colons weren't cleared out properly. I went to the GI's office and in order to salvage my two days of prep, I agree to buying some enemas and going back home to try clearing out my colon with the enemas.

And let me tell you my dear readers, never, ever, ever fucking take an enema while you're in situation where you haven't been drinking water, and you're not allowed to drink water. To be honest, the preparation for the colonoscopy, specifically the part where you take the laxatives, weren't even that bad. Yeah you're stuck in the toilet for like three hours but in the age of smartphones and tablets it could be a lot worse. But taking an enema while having drunk no fluids in the past 8 hours is the worse feeling in the world. It's been a week now since the event and I still hate it. I honestly thought I was about one minute from fainting because of dehydration that I had to immediately chug down Gatorade and have someone else call the GI office to tell them to cancel today's colonoscopy. Very long and shitty story short, I suffered a lot, and ended up having to reschedule my colonoscopy to the beginning of next month. The doctor speculated the reason why my colons weren't cleaned out properly after the laxatives was because my digestive system is slower than the average person's due to the lack of daily exercise. So next month I will be going on a harsher special diet for the two days leading up to the colonoscopy. 

Besides that miserable experience, I guess I've been doing well health wise. I ordered a health tracker called Fitbit Alta HR on Amazon Prime Day and I've been learning to watch the various stuffs the Fitbit Alta HR track.
