August 19th, 2018: Progress Report

Man it's already been a week. So the big progress I've made this week was the implementation of displaying a picture in the battle screen. What? You may ask, but well basically it was *the* major obstacle for me since this project was decided and I finally managed to implement it. Again, it'll be easier to show it off when there is something more visual to show everyone. But basically it was something that took me months of trying with no progress, and I finally solved the problem on Monday and Tuesday and I ended as being fatigued as a result for the next few days.

As for the project overall, we are still currently in the drawing phase of the game, where we're deciding on the storyline, conflict, etc etc. In fact, right now we're exploring outside of the box of the constraints we placed on ourselves and we're pondering taking the game to a different direction and such. It sounds pretentious and stuff, but I think it's good that we are carefully planning everything out instead of just jumping into the water with no plan and making stuff up as we go along. Like I said in a previous post, the goal is to produce a complete game, not one that is in early access or alpha or whatever forever.

More importantly though, Sachinama just started an informal poll in the #pina-heros-amazing-tale channel in the Discord about one of the character's design. I would post the pictures here but Patreon don't allow titties and stuff unless the post is locked behind a Patron-only wall. There's likely gonna be more spontaneous, informal polls in the future so if you haven't already, join us in my Discord!
