Yesterday, I caught myself googling, "signs of burnout," "how to recover from burnout fast," and "am I really burnt out?" on my phone, while trying to simultaneously eat my dinner, edit art for a thumbnail, and listen to half an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Which led me to believe, maybe, possibly, perhaps, I need a little break, one that isn't caused by something going slightly sideways irl. I don't want to, but my mental engine keeps overheating and stalling; instead of letting it cool off, I keep forcing the damn thing and pulling a surprised Pikachu when it doesn't work right.

So! I am making myself "officially" take the next two weeks off from the channel to focus entirely on recharging my batteries, giving myself permission to putter around and do fun things in my free time.

Though I know you'll all be entirely too kind about it, I am still so sorry about doing this. You all help pay for the content I make, you deserve to get it! In a timely fashion, even! (I know! You'll say I don't have to feel guilty! BUT I DOOOO!!)

The channel is also currently enjoying a boost in the algorithm, so I'm afraid a hiatus, no matter how short, may jeopardize that!

But I think, after the past few months, I need a proper mental reset without an irl mishap + looming deadlines + various management/organization/production duties. Just a little one. If I stop juggling so much for a bit, it might be easier to stop dropping...uh...balls...

Y'know what? I didn't think this metaphor through all the way before I started typing it. Oh well, too late now! Commit to the bit. The ball bit. BALLS.

I figure a girl can have a teeny vacation between misadventures, right? As a treat? Consider this break me making space for that.

To that end, all previously announced audios will be bumped back in the schedule by a couple of weeks.

Regular audio releases resume on youtube April 18th! Early access will be sometime before then.
