Sneak Peeks, Plans & Updates: February Event!
Added 2025-01-23 00:05:56 +0000 UTCHello, Patrons! I am deep in the throes of planning, preparing and running headfirst into the brick wall of Februdere! I have my script shortlist, which as usual is too long, but I'm whittling away as fast as I can.
There will be twelve audios released during February, plus two exclusives for you! As I said previously, I hope to do four full series during the event, but I also have some backup single scripts selected in case that turns out to be too much. (It might!)
I have no proper descriptions/titles/tags for you this week, but I DO come bearing many event thumbnails! In a new style!
I've wanted to change up my thumbnails for awhile, and I've been playing with possibilities in secret for months. (You have no idea how many hours I've spent comparing fonts.) I finally got it narrowed down to just a couple styles I'm happy with, and I've been running tests on the channel for about a week now, fiddling with fonts, colors, text orientations and such to see what performs best.
February will be the first big trial to see how the new style fares during a packed schedule. I can't wait to see if they flop! The full thumbnail switchover won't be until the summer after I have a lot more data, just in time for the channels fourth anniversary.
Now, without further ado: potential Februdere thumbnails! Not in official order, but with bonus backups!
Obviously, some may not make the cut for the event, but I'll get to them eventually!
You also might also notice there's a lot more anime style art lately! I've spent a few months hunting up some artists who sell pre-made cute anime girls, and I've been greasing palms left and right, throwing money this way and that, buying up everything in sight like an art vacuum. It's thanks to YOU, patrons, that I've been able to pay so many folks for their wares! Thank you so much! I hope you dig the new art, because I certainly do!
