BTE patreon release (1.7.6.3 build)

IMPORTANT

From now on the game will be called Beyond the Edge, aka BTE. I won't say it's a difficult decision to rename the game, but rather a necessary one. The old name confused people about the genre, and created some other problems. Personally, I think the old name is just something I'm used to and nothing else. It's the same game, or rather, it's even better than ever before.

The Book of Tentacles, by the way, will be the title of the first act. Revealing the role of the book in the game doesn't require naming the whole game after it.

IMPORTANT

Changelog:

- 41 maps have been modified with new spritesets and improved design.

- 5 new maps.

- Patricia's quest has been greatly expanded with new pictures, sprites, and a new storyline.

- New concept of desires which alters the player's choices, giving the player the ability to pursue different goals. This is explained after the prologue in the castle.

- Major part of the dialogues has been reviewed and optimized. (less «**» thing, more words)

- The prologue has been shortened and slightly changed.

- New campfires that expand fast travel options.

- Many events have gotten new icons, and new icons have been added for desires.

- New sounds for quests, items, relationship

1.7.6.1:

- Patricia's first scene in the forest is now animated, added a few new pictures and dialogues to the scene

- Sarnara's home passage was fixed

- New opening scene, new animated menu scene (which I fucking love)

1.7.6.2:

- Eliza not showing up bug has been fixed

- You can now move the rocks with your powers, not the spell

- New intro pictures and events

- New pictures during the first Patricia scene

- New M picture with the giant claw

- Some of the old events has been changed

1.7.6.3:

- Fixed missing sound effect bug during the first Sarnara's scene

- Fixed infinite Rosa's hire scene in the tavern

- Fixed the bug with Ara's cathedral construction

- Fixed the bug with the party not appearing after Patricia's last scene

Please let me know about any possible bugs so I could fix them quickly.

Future plans:

- I will revive Discord server and will be actively posting there.

- In the next updates I plan to introduce the two remaining Brothers, add events with the main characters to get to know them better, possible event with Sarnara since the lines of Ara, Maggie, and Patricia are pretty finished. Moreover, Sarnara is the only character with whom I can go full pervert mode without any restrictions.

I can also assume we're 2 updates away from the end of the act. And they won't take half a year. During this time I have solved everything I need and thanks to those who waited. Further updates will be released in the normal mode.

Not sure about all saves, but I loaded mine and they worked. In any worse case, the upper left torch in the beginning, click on it five times to skip the prologue.
