Weekly status report 5

Hi everybody.

We hope you've had a productive week and are ready to wind down and relax for the weekend.

June is going to be an exciting and busy month for us. Many of you have chosen to continue to support us for this month (thank you very much), and we have got several new patrons in these few days (hello and cheers).

Here's what we did this week:

Art:

Chestnut has completed all the cutscenes planned for 0.2. We particularly love one of them, where we tried to use the parallax movement of the elements in Renpy to create a cool-looking scene. It turned out much better than we had hoped, and we can't wait to show it to you all (and do more things like it).

Aside from cutscenes, Chestnut spent the rest of the week working on sex scenes and other visual elements. We are done with all images needed for 0.2, except the two hidden images and the remaining parts of the sex scenes.

Posing:

Pistachio did a lot of posing this week. Now almost all the characters in the game have different (and hopefully logical and at least interesting) facial expressions when talking, thinking, or interacting with one another. Four long scenes are still left to be posed, and Pistachio hopes to finish them by the end of Sunday.

Code:

Pistachio added cutscenes to the game, making sure that the world responds to the events and changes slightly depending on the stage of the quest.

Audio:

We added more sound effects to some of the elements in the cutscenes.

Editing/debugging:

A couple of new bugs were reported and found when posing, and they were added to the (hopefully no more growing) list of things to work on in the future.

Next week's plan:

Chestnut will dedicate all her efforts to advance the sex scenes. Pistachio is going to finish posing all the sprites and then use DragonBones to animate the sex scenes (when and if at the animating stage). If he has more time, he will go through the story from 0.1 and make sure that everything is legible, sentences are simple, and the flow of the story and the voices of characters all make sense.
