November Patreon Donations Going to Feeding America
Added 2025-11-07 21:34:44 +0000 UTCHey folks,
This will be a tone shift and if you're not up for anything serious, you can skip this one.
Kris over at MegaDumbCast is sending in his Patreon money to FeedingAmerica.org this month because of the government shutdown and how it's affecting SNAP benefits.
I wanted to do the same, so that's where your November donations are going. I don't say this because I need applause or whatever, but because I guess I want you to know that you're helping and I hope you'll help more, if you have the means to do so. Needless to say, if this shit wears on, I'll keep sending your money to Feeding America.
Queer people, and there are a lot of queer people on my show and who listen to Hard Choices, are disproportionately likely to be disabled and those with disabilities are going to be facing some unbelievable hardships as this bastard of a situation wears on. That hits home in a big way for personal reasons that aren't really my place to talk about, but just know that I worry a lot about how people surviving on disability income are going to make it. This is one small thing I can do to maybe make that situation a little less terrifying for folks.
Thank you for your donations and for making it possible to do something in the face of what often feels insurmountably grim. It means a lot that you donate and it means a lot that your donations make it possible to do things that matter. Maybe people don't think of that when they send their dollars to a show about fucking the Muppets, but look, we all contain multitudes and caring about people is one of them, so thank you.
And fear not, regular filthy content and bizarre sex toys nightmares will resume after this message. I just wanted to let you know and to say thanks for being the kind of people that make art possible and make doing good and important things possible. It means a lot.
With much kindness,
MBob
