I'm not gonna lie to you all, I went into this expecting Arnold Schwarzenegger to be this epic action hero in a crazy sci-fi action film. So as soon as I noticed something was off about his character, it took me a minute to really believe it lol. I absolutely LOVED this movie. There was this quiet tragedy beneath all the action-packed mayhem. A deeper message about how the future bleeds into the present. A beautiful reminder that sometimes destiny finds people who never ask to be chosen.
The Terminator was absolutely terrifying. But also, strangely poetic? With everything going on today with AI, I couldn't help but get chills and feel like this was a warning to us all. The Terminator is a ghost of our own making. Sent to erase the very thing that gives us meaning and hope and life. It's so much more than just a machine. It's the consequence of humanity's arrogance, walking with purpose and no mercy.
I absolutely loved the synth score in this. It felt like the pulsing heartbeat of the entire story. And just like The Terminator it refused to quit 🤣 Every chase, every shadow, every flicker of red light carried a constant reminder: the future isn't written, but it's always there watching.
I loved the deeper messages and love within this movie the most. Beneath the explosions, the guns, and the time paradoxes... this movie is about love and legacy. About the fragile, miraculous threads that tie humanity together when everything else falls apart. It's a story that says: we endure. Even when the world turns cold and mechanical. We keep fighting! And I loved Sarah Conner's arc for that message alone!
I can't wait to check out the next one with you all!
