Andor | Season 2 Episodes 10-12 | Full Reaction

Welp. I've finally closed the final chapter of Andor Season 2 and I'm left full, changed, and emotionally scattered in the best ways. This show reawakened my love for the Star Wars galaxy in deeper, stronger ways that I didn't know were possible. It made the rebellion feel so human, personal, and urgent. It made me actually fear the Empire and tremble when they walked into the room. And not to get all sentimental on you guys, but it honestly reminded me why I began this space in the first place. To feel, to journey, to belong.

Episode 10 was devastatingly beautiful. It felt like an elegy. Not just for one man even, but for the idea of what rebellion costs. Luthen's story has always felt like standing in the middle of a fire. And this episode... It finally let us see the ashes it leaves behind. The flashbacks between him and Kleya hit me in all the feels. The tenderness beneath their steel, the trust that was carved through years of secrecy and different roles and sacrifice. It felt like watching two ghosts remember the people they used to be just before the cause completely consumed them.

I mourned for Luthen. But I also loved that this episode truly honored him in every way. It didn't sensationalize his end or his choices. It respected the quite weight of his sacrifices. We saw how much the Rebellion bears his fingerprints. The strategies, the connections, the impossible choices made so others could one day rise freely. Luthen gave everything to light a fire he'd never get to stand in. And that's the kind of heroism that made this show burn so brightly.

By the time Episode 12 came, I was ready. Ready to witness the culmination of everything we've carried since the beginning. All of the sacrifices (Luthen's, Maarva's, Mon Mothma's, Cassian's) convergin into one unmistakable truth: Rebellion is not built on glory. It's built on pain, insanity, love, and the stubborn belief that tomorrow can be different. Watching Cassian take his next steps towards the man he becomes in Rogue One floored me. It felt less like an ending and more like a prophecy being fulfilled. The destiny is finally turning.

I'm really going to miss this show. The ritual of pressing play every week, the discussions, these write-ups, the collective hype for this show has been so incredible. I feel like in a lot of ways, it has even inspired me to write more outside of just these blurps from films or tv I give you all each reaction. I found myself so inspired by the art, the music, and the vibe that Andor gives off. And I just loved how much it showed how ordinary people (weary, flawed, afraid) can still change the course of history just by choice. A choice to never give up. A choice to go down swinging.

To everyone who joined me through this journey, THANK YOU. Experiencing Andor with you all made it feel even more sacred. And now, even though I have seen Rogue One, I can't wait to rewatch it with new eyes. After Andor, it's not just an epic movie. It's the echo of everything that came before it.

Here's to Luthen's fire, Cassian's courage, and the stories that remind us why we fight 🥃🔥

One of the best series of all time. Seeing your reaction was the closest to watching it again for the first time. I've had the pleasure of meeting Diego Luna in person, a long time ago, and he was always the perfect actor for this role. After the finale dropped, a lot of people went around watching the talks that Tony Gilroy, his brother, and the other writers from the series shared online. It's a masterclass for any screenwriter. It adds so much more depth and introspection to the whole series. One of the takeaways that I enjoyed was that they did so much worldbuilding, also left many crumbs for future writers and filmmakers to follow. The downside, aside from there being no more Andor, is that a lot of the other existing Star Wars series pale in comparison (I would recommend watching the Clone Wars / Rebels series, as they add a lot to the Ashoka & Mandalorian series, with their own great moments). We have friends everywhere.

Finally got a chance to watch this reaction. I’ve been a couple reactions behind, so I’ve been binging your last two reactions (6 episodes) all the way to the finale! I really love this series! And I’m so happy you loved it too Kali! It’s been wonderful taking this journey with you! Whew! I almost forgot how hard the second half of this season hits! Especially as we start to see everyone’s ultimate destinies being revealed as we hurtle headlong towards the beginning of Rogue One Tragic, heroic, inspiring, cautionary. And that last shot with Bix and their baby 😭 Great show!

And now you know that this is why my hot take is that they need to remake ALL of the Star Wars movies and use this as the baseline for theme, tone, and storyline
