DISTRESSED DAMSELS: Cheongsam-intensive Clip Studio Paint sketch sets from ROSE & LILY!

So, in a post from last month, as I featured a bunch of sketch sets of Lily (from Rose & Lily, the distress-prone Dirty Pair iterations) in peril, I mentioned in passing that I had been noodling away on a story fragment that involved her sporting a skintight cheongsam dress (which, I think, dates back to a "smartsuit" costume variation briefly seen in 2000's miniseries Dirty Pair: Run from the Future).

Wellp, here's a work-in-progress Clip Studio Paint page featuring Lily, presumably undercover at a party of some sort (hence the cheongsam), sneaking around somewhere and winding up in distress:

I'd assume her attacker's tie and handkerchief are self-tying pieces of AD 2141-vintage smartcloth , but haven't yet bothered to clarify matters in this story fragment.

Next up, several more likewise incomplete pages of pencil-based analog sketches loosely depicting Lily getting dragged off by her unseen captor:

...and stripped of her own (notably fragile) smartcloth cheongsam, leaving her in the bikini portion of her suit so often seen in Rose & Lily:

Note that her non-boot-based footwear in these previously posted sketches was supposed to be part of the discarded cheongsam:

Ehh, I doubt this story fragment is going anywhere, but who knows, given the vagaries of my Rose & Lily sketching?

Come to think of it, even in "real" Dirty Pair continuity this cheongsam iteration has boded ill for poor Y*ri/Lily, as she wound up captured and trussed up in the final issues of Run from the Future (IIRC).

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: The next Distressed Damsels post in a week or so will likely be featuring new "Elf vs. Chair" content from The Chaste and the Chained (including a Princess Zelda team-up, believe it or not).

As for other content, I'm not sure what's up next; could be some new, ah, "fan art" (koff) featuring characters from an old project, or an update of Half-Elf designs from The Last Party, or an early sneak peak at the many, many developmental sketches from a writing-only fantasy pitch that's been underway for a few months now.  (I'm hoping to start laying out the project's first issue or chapter next week, if I can get a different comic proposal outta the way shortly.)
