I'm terribly sorry for making everyone wait today. Although, ironically, I'm not nearly as sorry that I'll be making you wait even longer for the next page!
In accordance with tradition ("tradition" being a very loose term), I'll be taking Monday off in observance of Memorial Day ("observance" being a loose term as well). And of course "off" is similarly loose, since I'll still be working like a slave to keep to this ruthless schedule I've shackled myself to. If you could see me you would behold a wretched thing, sleep deprived and stinking to high Heaven. Thank God for holiday weekends. They save my life every time.
And, of course, I thank the many men and women who gave their all in service to my country. I hope you enjoy your day off (if it's observed in your particular sphere), and spare at least a thought now and then to the underpinnings!
You know, it wasn't until I decided to make a point of observing every observance in Zebra Girl's final months that I realized just how many of them there are. The calendar's crowded.
Time flies. Just look at Zandra. She's already got a kid on her claws.
