I'm going to be dusting off some Endwalker songs over the next two months for the St. Louis performance. The Nautilus Knoweth, Close in the Distance, and Dynamis are such a strong set.

2024-08-05 19:41:43 +0000 UTCSoken really has a knack for flipping a melody between styles. When I played in a guitar duo, we worked on some swing music. I remember it being really brutal, because we both had mostly just played classical. I'm grateful for that experience with pieces like this.

2024-08-05 17:35:15 +0000 UTCI never thought you would actually do this song, It has such a "jazz song to improv over" vibe. But am i glad you did, this arrangement has such a refreshing feel to it. Makes you notice how dang solid those melodies are that they can survive such change intact. Also gotta love the hard af swing stank you put on it during the bridge section :D
