An actual important announcement this time.

I know you all have been waiting for an update on everything that's been going on with development in regards to EveBloom and it has been far too long since the last proper update.

The reason it took so long was because this was a pretty big decision to come to and not one I could go forward with until I made absolutely sure of it.

Before you panic; No, EveBloom is not cancelled.

However, as of this moment, Butteryshake, the artist responsible for the character designs and drawings, will no longer be apart of this project.

After giving the one month grace period to her, I spoke with her and it sounded like she was really settling in, although she did comment on being tired. Thus, I waited for a bit longer until she finally did a sketch of the next CG (some of it shown in the last update as a teaser.)

On the same day of that sketch, she went to a job interview, and ever since, she has been too busy to work on this project.

It was a bit hard to tell her that I was going to move on, because she's been there since the start and I love her drawings, but... At this point in time, we'll be waiting for a very long time for the next week of EveBloom if I kept her on as the character artist.

There hasn't been a single character drawing completed or even started in terms of the new week, aside from the concept sketch.

The week leading up to this announcement, she went silent completely until I got in contact with her a few days ago and asked her when she'd have free time, to which she responded that she was busy every single second of the day and was too tired during breaks.

I felt bad, but I eventually decided it was for the best if I changed character artists.

I'm sorry it's taken so long for a real update and that the news that shows up isn't the one you may want to hear.

I'm now looking for a new character artist who, hopefully, can match the level and style of Butteryshake, although that may be difficult.

I'm also sorry if this change will impact your enjoyment of the game but I decided it needs to happen.

Carol was her favorite character and I didn't know how to end this post so I'll just leave her here at the end.
