There's another direction this could take. What if Carten developed feelings for her? He'd want to protect her. He'd pull the rest of the group in. I'm not saying it'd go smoothly, but they could bring her around. She seems like a good person, just ideologies like might = right and nobility is a superior breed instilled in her. She's no Farnese (Berserk reference) but this feels similar. Has she ever even had a true friend? At least, I hope it takes that route and not the obvious tragic ending for her that would be wasting the time spent on her perspectives and a lot of this whole debacle. And, if Rain were on her side he could get powerleveled in the dungeon below the city.......

pdf was fine for me, the only strange thing was that between switching from Rain's PoV to Velika's you had this: "hr/>" which seems to be a formating error but beyond that I didn't see anything odd. Edit: turns out that while the pdf showed the code for the deviding line the patreon comment system tried to give me the line and then removed it. So I removed the < at the beginning

He seems to have no filter, which in a world with exponential power growth, means unless he had insane power (he doesn't) he would be turned into paste after pissing off the wrong person in a handful of month's time.

It was obvious from the experience Rain and crew had with her last time that she wasn't cut out for leadership. She doesn't have the right personality for it + she's a highly entitled spoiled rich woman with no care for anyone else. And yes maybe outright stupid too. There is almost no way things can turn out well with someone like that in charge....
