An important poll about the direction of the channel.
Added 2021-05-09 16:03:48 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
I'd like to ask your opinions on some important questions regarding the direction we take with the maps in the future. I'd like to measure which type of maps you like the best, and we will go heavier in that direction. Feel free to select more options, and please write a comment if you have an idea that we should consider!
I'd like to announce that we are reworking our 5$ tier, and we will release 2 extra map variants for each map. As you know my wife started working with me recently since she lost her job due to Covid. On the bright side, we can put more work and effort into the maps together, and we will have the time to make new versions for the maps. These map variants will have weather effects like rain, alternate moods, and other unique happenings. If you like the idea or you'd like to give us some extra support, consider joining in that tier, we would really appreciate it!
Again, thank you very much for the support, it means the world to us!

2021-05-10 08:10:14 +0000 UTCI love your maps and use them both to print AX sizes and now with COVID for Foundry VTT. One thing I would like is more space around feature of the map, either as an optional extra add on or by shrinking the scale and adding the extra detail around the featured point. My combats tend not to be static and just focus on the central encounter point but also include the approach, retreat or just the players moving around the mapped encounter point to avoid or flank the enemy. Perhaps my game style is an outlier and others are happy with the central focus style map. Just my 2c.
2021-05-10 05:25:07 +0000 UTCI really enjoy the modular maps. I tend to use them to build massive scale VTT maps by merging and tiling them in GIMP. It would be really great if you were able to expand on the city tiles in particular. Even just more generic forest/tree "maps" (roads!) would be good for adding variety https://i.imgur.com/7Zwaqby.jpg This is an example of one of the first maps I made. From a zoomed out level, you can see the tiles.

2021-05-09 17:42:10 +0000 UTCI am relatively new but I have been using your beautiful maps in fantasy grounds unity
2021-05-09 17:40:08 +0000 UTCI see, thank you for the feedback! I will probably find a sweet spot between the two. With some forward planning, it's possible to have modular versions for regular encounters in a theme, and have some specific ones for boss fights and such.

2021-05-09 17:38:05 +0000 UTCI really appreciate the modular and flexible maps that I can then modify myself for a specific encounter. That said, I've been enjoying the unique-looking maps you've been making of late, so I'm voting for those just cause I'm curious what else you'll design.

2021-05-09 16:25:24 +0000 UTCAs much as I love building modular dungeons, I would also like to see a bit more expansive modular pieces I could build more landscape with. I love all of your work so far!!
