Are there cultural differences that exist because of history? But it's foolish to the we have to run a wildly different game in some contruct of "rural America" when workers have similar material interests everywhere

It's like we've kept this snapshot of 19th century politics of an updates peasant vs urban or country mouse and city mouse as if Capitalism hasn't made those distinctions irrelevant in terms of differences in material interest amongst the working classes. I grew up in a more rural/suburban/small MA town...they don't pick turnips, we've got Walmart and shit
