What’s your favourite movie?

You’ve heard some of our favourites on the main podcast (Dark Batboi, Jokester, Fat Hal, Apple Pie, to name but a few!) but we want to know what YOUR favourite films are?

Comments

Oh boys boys boys how could you forget The Hills Have Legs. It’s about some zombies who come out of the hills on their legs, an unusual twist on the zombie trope

Entire Alloy Overcoat

I came to the comments to find this film and I’m glad I did

I can't believe there are so few mentions of the movies of Beven Sbielerm. Classics like Shark, Little rubber alien, Dindy John in the Temple, the list goes on.

Stop Hitting Yourself is a great film of the late 90's

My all time favorite would have to be hot cops, about two hot cops solving a hot crime

Ouch My Neck Hurts is my favourite film, about a boy who plays the guitar real good but not good enough for JK Rowling, and then this one time he leaves his guitar sticks at a guitar rental place and gets hit by a truck and his neck hurts but he still makes it in time to play the guitar with his guitar sticks

My favourite movie would have to be Drum Boy. J Jonah Jameson teaches spiderman the drums and they have a really positive student/mentor relationship

Eric Johnson

The king of the jewellery 2 : world trade centre

Dan Benjamin

I've gotta say my favourite movie is Wizard Boy and the Dog Man. What a twistie it was when Mr Lupus was also a dog man along with that no good Seriously Dark.

Hot Joggers, film about Barbados’ first Ice Hockey team

Two of my faves as a kid were “The Dirt Block Group” it was about a group of kids who play baseball on a dirt block and “Small Cunts” which was about a group of kids who played in a shed and raced billy crars, the leade of the Small Cunts was a kid called alphalf.

Another great movie is that Tom Hanks movie called Small where he wishes everyone was small so he could look like an adult and then convinces some woman to become a pedophile

I've always been a big fan of Imaginary Man. It's about this guy, see, and he pretends to have cancer for a while and that's how he meets imaginary man, who's a bit of a rough bloke and also a man who likes a good fight. In fact, so much that he starts his own club, which he calls Punch Club. I shouldn't even really be saying this, though, as the first rule of Punch Club is: Don't Run Ads About Punch Club.

Aunty Donna

I fucking love plaing with legos

Mystery man

A Small Nerd Boy Cries In A Library After Smoking Weed (1985) really stands out for me - such a classic teen coming-of-age drama. The film features one of the most iconic roles from Cocaine Charlie's brother.

One of my favourite movies is definitely No Country For Old Tommy Lee Jones (2007). The Anti Sugar character is extremely unsettling. A comedy movie that I can watch over and over is probably Warm Distortion: Big Cop in Small Town (2007). A very successful cop moves out of the busy city to a more quiet life because he's just too hot.

Cameron Fulwood

The Talented Mr Ripley

I like the Plectrum of Fate with Jackson White, "Harry Potter's corpse saves a man's life and farts a lot" and "Cars, but it's just a single tire that kills people".

Patrick Kontschak

bad deceased 2, my grandma was a witch, pagan festival nightmare

Haven't heard of that, but I have heard of Fred Flinstone Bowling in real life ft. Dressing Gown Man

Andrew Sommerich

Really like Canoe Reads from the "the computer" franchise in the "Dude, Who Killed My Dog?" series. That style of movie isn't for everyone but it's quite entertaining to sit back and watch gun karate like in Jan de Bonts films.

Steven Bunn

I love the animated film “Replacement Robot Son who can fly and shoot lasers out of his hands” based on the chinese cartoon of the same name.

Die hard but not at Christmas and in space

My favourite movie is Crisp Nolan's "Special Agent: Dream Thief" where Leonardo Decaffeinated plays a Mentalist who sneaks into people's dreams to replace their thoughts with his own. Adam Lohrey

My favourite movie is probably ‘Boy Fucks Mum in the Past’ about a teen called Matthew FlyBoy who steals a time machine car from a geriatric old man so he can fuck his mum in the past

Sadie

Grave of the fireflies

I really like the films of the Coe Bros. Some of the favourites of theirs are: The Two Men Named Lebowski (1998) Folk Singer Movie with Minimal Plot, Except for the Thing With the Cat (2013), and Hollywood in the 50s (2016). I also love Taika Dubs, especially New Zealand Boy, (2010), Bigger New Zealand Boy (2016) and Little Nazi Boy (2019). And how could I forget Funny Vampire Movie (2014). It's one of my favourites. Taika Dubs was just announced as the director of the next Star movie, but I'd probably just prefer if he made Another Quirky Movie About a Boy.
