That's why comic version of Captain America is just like, a LOT better than the one seen in The Marvel Cinematic Universe where they toned down a lot of the openly political stuff. The guy was literally created by a handful few Jewish cartoonists to encourage Americans to oppose the Nazis during a time when most of the country was split on entering WWII or not.

He is most of the time portrayed as what America should aspire to be. Some of his best stories involve going against corrupt politicians (usually hydra agents) and winning over the people with his moral compass.
