Creating a new environment for our 2nd animation, going all-out on a medieval styled valley where the character interactions will take place. Been getting good at the shaders for trees, thousands of instances and procedural fence/wall tools.
The terrain is generated using Houdini's heightfield erode simulation, this spits out masks for textures in Substance Painter, using megascans texture assets.
Ground foliage and debris has not been scattered yet, and there are only 2 models of tree present, so we'll get some more variation in later.
