Hi Dante. That’s good to know that there’s interest in an Xserve video, since I have each of the generations now (though an Xserve RAID would be nice). Good to know there are some server experts around to ask questions. If you had a retro server table at VCF, you’re definitely not a rookie. :) The poll is a guidance but I also tend to get a new machine and just start making a video about it then and there. The 6500 and 7500 were glaringly absent from the poll, but Macs that I might jump on anyway.

Even my table at VCF Midwest back in September had an ARM-based Linux server from 1999. I see this more as a planning tool. The highest vote percentages will get made sooner.
