Added 2021-12-10 11:17:57 +0000 UTCAlright! So updating from developments since the last update I have been working diligently with two new clients on their leicas. I haven't really found a good presentation formula for this platform regarding them just yet but I thought in the mean time I would give away some sneak peak shots of the sequences as they develop. These screenshots are strictly story panel sketches and won't be used for the cels themselves. As mentioned before they are just used to present the framing and pacing of the stories themselves. These two will delve more into the transformational aspects of characters and it explores species I haven't quite worked much with to date so these will prove to be interesting experiences!
I've also included a few concepts or practice sketches of the clients characters to get a better feel for how they would be drawn up in the animated form. I recommend coffee to sip for maximum viewing satisfaction ;)
Also in other news I have acquired a second monitor! Apologies for the low definition image, my ipad isn't quite what it used to be - it probably doesn't help that its a darker room, that's just how I like to operate when I concentrate. But I'm sure you'll get glimpses of more in the future. Both monitors are manufactured by the same company and have more or less the same specifications with a version or two difference, being purely physical interface changes. That said its taken some experimentation to figure out the best placement and arrangement of both. I didn't realize that working with an angled monitor would result in a strange hand-eye coordination distortion so adjustments have been fine tuned since the updates.
