A lot of techno-babble to follow... Skip if you wish:
Hello! I've just finished simming her legs. Well actually I did the sim 2.5 times... Let me explain: I was having trouble toning down the quivering, jiggling quality of the sim. But I managed to get an audience with the Storm developer and he said to try this, this and this... So I got much better results. It took more time but I decided to sim again and this is the final result. Future sims should go quicker because now I know what I can do there.
I plan on simming her in three sizes. Skinny / medium / final. This is because the final size will be so large, all of her masses will get smooshed together; which is why Storm will deliver it's greatest benefit. But I don't want to simply blend between skinny and huge, because the entire transition will be blending between thin masses that do not press against each-other, and large masses that do. So the middle size will have less masses pressing against each-other. The transition from A to B to C will work better I think. The middle size will only need to be simmed during the transition, and C will only need to be simmed from the start of the transition to the end of the animation.
Fortunately, making the middle-sized model is very easy... It's just a 50% blend between the two sizes.
So anyway... We are now cooking with bacon grease and I can't wait to see all of this come together. :)
More to come!
