Dee-Lightful
Added 2024-03-18 12:12:52 +0000 UTCFINALLY the return of Dee! An amazing photographer, stylist, model, editor, creative mind and great friend. With all of those things in mind I've found it pretty difficult to add something of my own to her work (in fairness, I'm just overthinking, as usual) but the latest set she posted last week just got the creative juices flowing and I saw this image in my head of her looking back over her shoulder with the wind blowing her hair across the image (in hindsight, this is becoming kind of a thing for me... I'll try and change it up in future!)
It's pretty simple really, but I wanted to really focus on her hair and her back in the linework rather than relying on the colour to carry them. I've included the linework and the original sketch here to help show that
As life on social media is getting tougher and tougher for anyone who shows any flesh, I've had to do a censored version for IG (even though there's literally nothing explicit here and you can see more flesh on a primark advert) and normally I'd be kind of upset about that... but I think I actually prefer the "censored" version despite the reference having no leggings. Weird right?
