I started experimenting here with how I do the "seams" on the android characters.
I put seams on them in the first place because I wanted it to be obvious they're mechanical but didn't want to weird skin colors (and when I first introduced Murphy the strip wasn't in color anyway). There's a good in-story reason androids wear seams which I hope to bring up in-story later. If the story doesn't get in the way.
